I can say with ease...This was a big highlight of our travels thru Missouri....after an exhausting hot walk thru the Zoo only to point ourselves to the Hampton Inn for a quiet night in....Only to roll up to get a room and see a restaurant right in front of us....Huge relief as we hadn't even discussed food for the evening. Service was exceptional, and we were easily identified as "Your not from around here, are ya"....gave us the whole breakdown on the whole cow smash burgers and there red hot seasoning, including a sample bag of chips to test our heat tolerance....it was a perfect match for us. I'll tell ya...we rarely do burgers out, as I grind my own at home....but these were super legit smash burgers....coming in at 2oz each my only regret is not going with a quad burger...super crispy edges, fantastic flavor....and the buns were uber soft. Wife went fries and me rings both with the spicy seasoning...Very, Very satisfying meal after a busy day. I tip my hat to you Macs! Fantastic Visit!

Really enjoyed eating here! The burger was delicious and so were the fried tomatoes. Highly recommend. Great and quick service too.

Perfection! Is an under statement. Talked with the owner tonight for a little bit and this place has history, maybe a newer location but this place has it going on. Being from a state with fantastic beef products Mac's has that as well and wouldn't have any other burger in St.Louis anywhere else. I travel the country and I can easily say best burger on the market from California to New York. The owner has figured it out and now we have to get the word out!

Plenty of parking in the lot shared with the hotel. Plenty of seats. Order at counter, they give you a number, they bring your food to you. Definitely an amazing burger. It's not greasy! Crispy edges and very tasty. South side Mac. So tasty. Everything well put together. Chili cheese fries. Crispy and tasty. Cole slaw. Not a lot of sauce. Crisp but I prefer more mayo. Lemonade. So good and the watermelon ice cube is such a nice touch. Great and friendly service. Nice shop local store in front. Highly recommend!

Gooey Goodness!! I'm not from the St Lou area, so I found this place through the handy dandy Yelp app!! What a concept!! So Macs is located in a kind of odd inconspicuous place amongst a hotel and residential area. But upon walking in, the place is hustling and bustling! Laughter, friends, families.... And food!! All of their food is locally sourced! The beef is aged 28 days! It is like eating an aged a steak on a bun! I asked the guy at the counter what he recommended and he was very helpful! I went with the gooey garlic burger, and the rip fries with a Mac's lemonade!! The burgers are smash style so when they say four patties, it's equal to about 1/2 pound.... I went with two. The garlic burger has garlic aioli and garlic butter. On first bite, the garlic was a bit overpowering, but as you continue eating and pairing with the spicy Ripfries, it all blends perfectly!! The lemonade is damn good!! And the watermelon squares give a nice refreshing kick! The staff is expedient and helpful! I'd like to try more offerings, but for now I say flock to this place!

Mac's has been on my list forever, since before it had this location, and yet, somehow we always missed going to it. We were going to an event in forest park and I convinced my husband we HAD to try it. I'm so glad we did. We waited in line, which moved pretty quick, but probably-tip - you can order from the bartender if you're sitting at the bar. We will definitely do that next time. My husband got one of the pork burgers and I got one of the seasonals - the fungus amoungus - holy moly. They know how to do the garlic aioli. Their burgers were so tender and loaded. Their fries were cooked a perfect crispy. There's a reason they have such good reviews. Their bar has some awesome beer selections including sours, which made me happy. And service was fantastic the whole time. We will absolutely be back.

Mac's has the best burgers in town! I also LOVE how much they highlight local St. Louis brands, like Red Hot Riplets, in their food. When you go: I highly recommend ordering the garlic burger - it will rock your world! They even offer toasted gluten free bread for your burger. Beyond the AWESOME burgers: the service is always fantastic. There is plenty of space to sit, so bring your entire family to enjoy!

I've been hearing all about this place and have been dying to try it out. They have a great menu with lots of options for anyone who has any dietary restrictions. The ordering concept is different but works really well for all parties involved. The food - WOW! I ordered the donut burger and was wowed by the all the flavors. It was salty, sweet, perfectly cooked and everything in between. Amazing flavor and a great burger.
